The Celtics are looking to add experience to their coaching staff following a season-long suspension of head coach Ime Udoka.
According to NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski, Boston is seeking permission to talk to Clippers assistant Jay Larranaga. He was an assistant for the Celtics through 2012-2021 before moving to Los Angeles.
Larranaga, who is a former player and spent almost his entire playing career in Europe, would join Boston’s interim coach Joe Mazzulla’ staff.
